● Unlike traditional fiberglass fire blankets, InsoFire’s new black fire welding blanket is made of non-woven pre-carbonized fiber, which is soft, comfortable, lightweight and elastic, without irritating the skin. It can be used as a fire barrier because of its inherent flame retardant properties and its good performance before direct contact with the flame (no burning, melting or leakage).

● Our carbonized fireproof welding blankets have a low thermal conductivity of 0.13 W/(m-K) and can withstand temperatures up to 1800°F (982°C). The excellent cooling efficiency allows them to provide maximum thermal protection for most of welding work area. It can also perform as an element to suffocate small fires, or as a thermal barrier of personal safety to cover people and avoid burns during an evacuation or escaping process from the fire area.
